I live in Nigeria, West Africa, but I work all over the world. My mother brought me to the US frequently as a child, mostly to get her hair weaves done. I found Genie on the Internet.
I traveled to Atlanta from China to get my hair done only to find that Genie was the same lady who used to do my mothers hair over 25 years ago. We enjoyed a tearful re-union, she remembered both me and my younger brother and of course my mother.
Looking around her shop, I saw a picture of my cousin Danielle on her wall. I was double shocked. It appears my family already knew this lady. She was very familiar with my family.
My dear mother is deceased, but now I see why she and my cousin traveled to the US to Atlanta to get their hair done by "The Hair Genie"...She is so good.
