TESTIMONIAL

Sandy

I am a professional model. I was referred to Genie by my stylist. When I showed up at this shop; One week before a major photo shoot with a disastrous sew in weave.

I was absolutely sure I did not want another "sew-in" so during my consultation, I insisted on fusion. Genie warned me of the damage the fusion would cause to my own hair. She even had me sign a waiver; releasing her from liability. In other words, she would not be responsible for the damage.

I signed the waiver and scheduled the service. When I showed up for my "attachment" Genie got busy right away. I love the no waiting policy she has. Just about half way through the service Genie explained to me we'd be taking a break. She had to fix a "flapper."

I went to get snacks at the vending machine, when I came back I saw the client she had fixed the "flapper" for; as she whipped her hair into a high, fashionable ponytail. What, A high ponytail? She could even have an up-do, I thought. I could not believe this lady had tracks.

Genie had tried to tell me about this "micro-track," but I didn't listen. I thought I'd have to have fusion if I wanted to be able to change my hair styles. I had never heard of a track that small before. Turns out her sew in is more versatile than the fusion, no little hard links in my hair, no damage.

That was years ago. I'm still going to Genie when I have to look good and need a little help with my hair. No guess work here. No more fusion for me.
